APPLE TARTS
Ingredients:
Pastry:
1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, melted
4 cups apples - cored, peeled and sliced evenly
Icing:
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Mix pastry ingredients well and line a 9x13" pan with half of the
mixture. Place apple slices evenly in the pan. Cover with remaining
crumbs.
Bring Icing ingredients to a boil. Pour over the entire mixture in
the baking pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour, or until fruit is
done.
