JEWISH APPLE CAKE
Ingredients:
Batter:
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 cup oil
3 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup orange juice
Filling:
5 apples - thinly sliced
4 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions:
Mix all batter ingredients together and put half of the batter into
a greased tube pan. The put in half of the apple filling. Repeat
with the remaining batter and filling.
Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Let cake stand in the pan
for 1 hour before removing it.
